uctextile introduces PP Sunscreen Fabric, a PVC-free material developed for interior roller shades and solar-control systems. It is designed to help manage daylight in offices, hotels, residential spaces and other interiors where visual comfort matters.
Comfortable Daylight, Reduced Glare and Outward View
Large windows bring valuable natural light into a space, but they can also create glare on screens and make interiors uncomfortable during bright hours. PP Sunscreen Fabric helps soften incoming sunlight while maintaining an outward view.
Its open-weave construction allows daylight to enter in a more controlled way. This makes it a practical option for interior roller shades where the goal is not to completely block the view, but to balance light, glare control and privacy.
Choose the Right Openness Level
PP Sunscreen Fabric is available with selectable openness options, including 1%, 3% and 5%.
A lower openness level provides greater shading and privacy. A higher openness level allows more natural light and a clearer outward view. This gives shade-system manufacturers, designers and project teams flexibility when selecting fabric for different interior environments.
PVC-Free Material for Modern Shade Systems
PP Sunscreen Fabric uses a PP/TPO polyolefin construction and does not contain PVC. The material is lightweight for easier handling and features low moisture absorption to support routine care.
It is suitable for interior roller shades, panel tracks, selected Roman shades, office solar-control systems, hotel interiors and residential window-shading projects.
For exterior roller shades or ZIP systems, the fabric grade and complete system should be confirmed separately according to the project requirements.
